Scouting groups in Wandsworth have a number of halls that are available to hire.
Lyford Road SW18
The Romany scout hut, home of 1st Wandsworth, on Lyford Road SW18 is available for hire for party bookings. For parties, the usual booking period is 3 hours (including set up and clearing away time) for £40 per hour (plus a refundable £100 deposit). On a Friday bookings are between 2.30pm and 6.30pm. Saturday booking times are 10.30am-2.30pm, or 2.30pm-5.30pm. The hut is not available for hire on a Sunday or during August. Battersea Scout Centre
The Battersea Scout Centre was built in 1974 and is the District Headquarters of scouting in Battersea.
The centre can be hired for functions, meetings, playgroups, etc either during the day, in the evening or at weekends, subject to conditions and availability.
Seating capacity:
Conference Room, 9m x 6m approx, 40+
Main Sports Hall, 17m x 9m x 5½m approx, 150 +
Fully fitted kitchen which includes
Large Domestic Oven
Micro Wave Oven
Large Tea Urn
Fridge
Cutlery, Cups and Saucers etc.
Entrance hall
Changing rooms, male and female with toilets and showers
Air conditioning
Some storage facilities for regular users
