Cubs

Cubs are for boys and girls aged 7½ to 10 years old. If you’re looking for fun, friendship, challenge and adventure then Cubs Scouts is the place for you. You will get the chance to try lots of different activities and learn new skills.

All of our Packs are led by experienced adult leaders and helpers and all run a full programme of games, crafts, outings, camps and sleepovers and you will have the opportunity to gain badges and awards to wear on your uniform too.

Ask any member what they enjoy most about being a Cub Scout and the usual answer will be “CAMPING”. At camp, whether in a residential building or in tents, you will have the opportunity to try so many different activities such as archery, abseiling & climbing, grass sledging, canoeing, sailing and lots, lots more. Your Cub Pack may attend an annual ‘summer camp’ as well as weekend and overnight camps where you can join in the fun of being outdoors and exploring the countryside in a safe and friendly environment.
